By Teatown (other events)

Saturday, April 7 2018 1:00 PM 4:00 PM EDT

ABOUT ABOUT

Asian bittersweet is an invasive plant that threatens the life and longevity of trees in our forests. Come help our stewardship team clear vines from the forest edge and save a tree!

Teatown will supply loppers, saws, hard hats if necessary, work gloves. Volunteers should:

  • Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts that they don’t mind getting dirty or scratched – we’ll be working in some areas with barberry thorns
  • Bring bug spray for ticks
  • Bring a Nalgene and snacks

Programs require pre-registration. Online registration available until 24 hours before the event. If online registration is not available, call (914) 762-2912 x110 to register.
