Join Teatown environmental educator Elissa Schilmeister in a fascinating introduction to Teatown’s Raptor Ambassadors. Meet and learn about owls, falcons, hawks, and vultures.
Elissa Schilmeister has been involved with Teatown for 26 years as a camper, volunteer, and staff member. She is a New York State Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and a NYS/NREMT Paramedic. Elissa has many interests including herpetology, travel, photography, and learning new things.
Please note: This is in-person program at Teatown. Children under 8 free. No refunds. No dogs allowed. This is 1 hour program by registration only. No walk-ins. In case of inclement weather, the programs may be moved indoors.
The in-person programs will have limited capacities and will be held outdoors, so be prepared to dress warmly! Please note that all programs and activities are subject to restrictions or cancellations due to health regulations. Teatown follows all official guidelines regarding masks, capacity, and vaccination. All adults attending programs must show a proof of vaccination.
